SoggyGator is the founder of RageCNR as well as acting Director of Development and Director of Security. The idea for RageCNR had been in his mind for quite some time prior to deciding on the community we'd all come to know and love but ultimately he knew from the early 2010s that his goal was to launch the most immersive Cops and Robbers experience gaming had to offer. Ther was only one problem - the platform. With San Andreas Multiplayer fading into the past and Vice City Multiplayer awaiting it's arrival, we needed something new and fun and fresh. Originally we'd looked into IVMP, a multiplayer modification for Grand Theft Auto IV which seemed promising initially until it lost steam from developers due to lack of interest and a robust multiplayer environment already handled with Games for Windows Live. With the release of Grand Theft Auto V came huge promise. Grand Theft Auto 5 allowed people to see just how far gaming could go while us developers were itching to see how much further we could take it but we knew it'd be years before a proper multiplayer client was released that allowed people to develop their own experiences. My first interaction was with RageMP and I fell in love instantly. It was that grungy half baked SA:MP inspired platform that felt so very familiar allowing me to get both in and out of my comfort zone. Shortly into my journey I noticed a bit of a snag in my development - documentation. Very basic concepts are explained on the wiki but for anything further or real it all seemed to be behind cryptic messages or links to dead forums in languages I didn't understand. There seemed to be very little real market for it and we shifted focus in roughly 2017 to FiveM. | SoggyGator is the founder of RageCNR as well as acting Director of Development and Director of Security.
